Spring-Summer Craft Fair Schedule

Summer 2010 is shaping up to be a very busy time for craft fairs and festivals. I hope you will stop by my Designs By Denise booth and let me know that you follow my blog. If you do I will give you a 10% discount on any one item. Here is my schedule so far.

May 15th - Englishtown Street Fair
Main Street, Englishtown
Starts at Noon and ends at 5:00 PM

May 16 - Mayfest
Springfield Ave, Maplewood
Starts at 11:00 AM and ends at 5:00 PM

June 12 - Celebrate South Orange
Sloan Street, South Orange - Craft tables will be in front of the train station
Starts 2:00 PM and ends 6:00 PM

July 10 and 11 - Maplewood Stock
Memorial Park, Maplewood
Starts at Noon, craft shopping ends at 7:00 PM, the festival continues to 9:00 PM

Team Tuesday is here again!

This week my featured team member is Bluepie Originals. At Bluepie you will find an assortment of unique,sometimes one-of-a-kind handcrafted bags and accessories. I featured Bluepie this week for 2 reasons: One, Deb has really cute things in her store, and two, she lives in my hometown and I have to promote local. What's more local than the town I grew up in?!

I really like her photography, She has some great pictures of nature an animals. My favorite is of Curious George the dog.

Team Tuesday Week 8

Hi Everyone,

It's a beautiful Tuesday, the sun is shining and the temperature is mild and I got to babysit for my Grand Nephew this morning for a few hours, so it's a great day.

My feature for today is Wendy's Handmade. She has the cutest things. Her store features Quilts, Fiber Art, Wallhangings, Purses, Bags, and more. Check out her store.

Team Tuesday - Featuring Whimseys

Happy Tuesday Everyone. This week I'm featuring Whimseys. This shop has handmade totes, bags and book covers. Everything is so cute in her shop, I think the book covers are so original and I love the bags. Check our her store, you know you need a bag for the beach, and a cover for that book you are going to take with you.

New Necklace

Today I added a new necklace and earring set to my Etsy store. It's part of my new line and I am so excited about it.

 It is made from glass pearls and jet crystals. Jet is the name of the color of the crystal but it really looks like a deep purple. There are also crystal roundels between some of the bead combinations.  I really like the look when you wear it because it looks like the beads are floating, it's very elegant.

The earrings are 2 crystals and a pearl on french hooks and are approximately 1 inch long.

First I want to say Congratulations to the winner of my Birthday Blog Giveaway, Kathi, her store is Hippie Fairy Lover. I like her soy candles, they come in pretty colors. She has some great eco-friendly products in her store.
